The homes in HOF36 are all built around the lush courtyard garden. In this way, all residents enjoy a beautiful green view, and also experience the mental and social benefits of this shared outdoor space.

Research by Wageningen University shows that a green environment has a positive effect on people’s health, contributes to better well-being, stimulates encounters and ensures more varied play for children.

In addition to the spacious and carefully designed roof garden, residents can also use the high-quality facilities of HOF36. Bicycles can be parked in the communal bicycle shed in the parking garage, which also has sufficient space for residents’ and visitors’ cars.

In addition, there is still room for two neighbourhood facilities such as hospitality, a pharmacy or a day-care centre. These spaces are yet to be definitively filled in.

Greenery reduces stress, because just the sight of natural environments has a calming effect.
