Sustainable living on the outskirts of lovely Leiden
The construction of 444 rental homes in HOF36 started in the spring of 2022! HOF36 is located on the outskirts of Leiden in the Lammenschansdriehoek, a former business and office district that is being developed into an energetic new urban neighbourhood where living, working, studying and recreation go hand in hand.
Green, social and spacious
Welcome in the world of HOF36
Located on the edge of bustling Leiden with all the comforts of a new urban neighbourhood within reach.
HOF36 offers residents high-quality and highly efficient homes in a lush green environment, from balconies to parks and a shared roof garden. And all this within cycling distance of the hot spots of vibrant Leiden.
HOF36 will include 126 social rental homes of approximately 40 m2 each and 318 rental homes with sizes varying between 42 and 92 m2. These comfortable apartments are located in 5 different residential blocks around a communal green roof garden: The Hof. Under the Hof will be a two-story parking garage with 205 parking spaces for residents and visitors.
In addition to the communal roof garden, almost all the apartments have their own balcony, terrace or loggia. This is how we welcome the outdoors inside in HOF36. Additionally, there is still space for two neighbourhood facilities such as hospitality, pharmacy or a day care centre. These spaces will be finalized in the near future.
The green roof garden is designed in such a way that it both promotes social cohesion and ensures effective water accumulation – a form of climate adaptive construction. In addition, with the abundance of greenery, we are giving a significant boost to biodiversity in the city of Leiden.
